The successful Swachhata Pakhwara event was held in Kaliawas Village, Block FarrukhNagar, Gurugram, in collaboration with SGT Medical College Budhera, Gurugram on October 1, 2023 as per NMC directives.
Dr. S.P.S Kochar, Dean, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram and Dr. N.K. Aggarwal, Additional Dean, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, SGT University, Budhera, Gurugram, played important roles in overseeing the event, and Dr. Jagbir Singh Malik, along with faculty members, students, and Mr. Anshu Ghosh and his housekeeping team, ensured its successful organization.
The participation of Village Kaliawas Sarpanch Smt. Kamlesh Devi and other panchayat members, as well as the involvement of the public in the sanitation drive from 10 am to 11 am, is commendable. Providing transport and refreshments to participants is a thoughtful gesture.
It’s also great that the event was documented through photography and videography, ensuring a record of the community’s participation. Overall, it sounds like a very successful and well-organized event that promoted cleanliness and community involvement.
