About
Dr. Hemant Kumar is an academic researcher in the field of medical pharmacology. He has his master’s degree (in Medical Pharmacology) and Ph.D. degree (in Neuropharmacology) from the Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Delhi. He is an awardee of the DST INSPIRE fellowship. He has worked on the animal models of epileptogenesis and has studied the effects of various drugs and chemicals on the same. He has worked as a senior demonstrator in the Department of Pharmacology, AIIMS Bathinda, Punjab, and the University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. He is teaching pharmacology to students of various courses such as MBBS, BDS, MDS, nursing, and allied health sciences. He regularly attends conferences, CMEs, and workshops to upgrade his knowledge. He has several publications in international, peer-reviewed, indexed journals. He is a member of various associations/ societies like Indian Epilepsy Society, British Neuroscience Association, etc.
