About:
Dr. NC Arora graduated from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar in 1977 and joined AMC in 1978. He completed his MS (General Surgery) from AFMC, Pune and there after he performed the duties of General Surgeon in various Service Hospitals.
He Completed his MS (Orthopaedics) from AFMC, Pune in May 1993. He was posted to AFMC, Pune as Associate Professor from 1996-2000. He was awarded fellowship training in Joint Replacement and Trauma at Katharinen Hospital, Stuttgart Germany in 1997.
He is Professor of Orthopaedics since 2003 and his special interests are ‘Arthroscopy of knee and shoulder’ and ‘Arthroscopy of Hip and Knee’. He has been examiner (MS-Orthopaedics and DNB Orthopaedics) since 2000. He has guided 20 post-graduate students for MS/DNB, many of them are heading prestigious institutes like Army Hospital (R and R), New Delhi and AFMC, Pune. He has 16 publications in repeated Journals and seven presentations in IOACON.
He held the appointment Dean of Army College of Medical Sciences National Conference i.e. from November 2015 to July 2017. Presenting he is Medical Superintendent and Professor of Orthopedics at SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute since July 2017.
