Health check up camp was organised by department of Orthopaedics surgery , SGT Medical College & Hospital in the university campus on 16.12.2021 from 9.30 am to 2.30pm .The patients were brought from various nearby villages by the public relation publicity team of SGT university hospital. These patients were examined by medical specialists from department of Orthopaedics ,SGT university, Budhera . Their general physical check up was done and BP ,Pulse were recorded . They were subjected to various investigations including X rays/MRI at subsidised rates as per guidelines of management.. Free transport facility was made available to them from their residence to hospital and back to their residence.

During the camp on 16.12.2021 In all 69 cases reported for check up from surrounding nearby villages. Out of these 35 had backache,35 had knee problem including osteo arthritis,9 were classified in others category.
Photographic and videography facilities were arranged by mass communication department of the SGT University. Posters were prepared by deptt of Orthopaedics and were displayed during the camp at Ayurveda hospital, SGT University OPD for the health education /awareness purposes.
NOTE : Most of the patients who reported for health check up during the camp requested that they should be provided free medicines and free investigation facilities be arranged for them by the organisers. They were assured that their request will be conveyed to management for further guidance in the matter.
