Department of Orthopaedics

Department of Orthopaedics is one of the major clinical service department offering Trauma & Orthopaedic Care. The services are excellently managed by the most efficient, experienced faculties who are trained in India & abroad and performing specialized surgical techniques.
The department caters 24 hours accident and Orthopaedic emergency services starting from the reception of the patients in the accident and emergency department until the patient is fully rehabilitated. The department has a state of the art, well equipped modular operation theatre with laminar airflow & is well supported by the departments of Neurosurgery, Gen. Surgery, Faciomaxillary Reconstructive Surgery, Physiotherapy, and Artificial Limb Centre.

This hospital is a major referral center for orthopedics from all over Delhi & NCR Region. All types of trauma surgery, joint replacement surgery, sports injury surgery, spine surgery, onco-surgery, reconstructive surgery & pediatric surgery for the correction of congenital deformities are routinely taken care off.

MS Orthopaedics

The main focus of our course is good academics complemented by basic conceptual training of surgical management. The students get good hands-on experience during their tenure.

M.B.B.S

The department provides regular theoretical and clinical teaching for undergraduate students. Theory classes are conducted by the faculty using modern power point systems. The undergraduate students are taught basic clinical skills by interactive bedside teaching.
The department conducts examinations in Orthopaedics as part of the final year surgical paper. From time to time the department organizes guest lectures and orations by renowned faculty from the region and beyond.
