About Us

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) was established in 2010 as SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute with vision and desire to set up one of the best College, Hospital and Research Centre in Haryana with the objective to offer medical education and research programs and to provide healthcare services to the necessitous people in its surrounding areas at an affordable cost. Presently, this Faculty offers the following programmers:

  • MBBS
  • M.D. in all Clinical, Pre & Para Medical subjects
  • MSc. (Medical) in all Pre & Para-clinical subjects
  • M.D. in all Pre and Para-clinical subjects
  • Master of public health

All of these courses are overseen by highly qualified and specialized senior medical faculty. The Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences is home to an 830-bed multi-specialty hospital for future medical professionals to receive hands-on training and skill development. The hospital is fully equipped to provide medical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

This Institute stands out from others thanks to the efforts of the faculty and the presence of top-notch infrastructure, including air-conditioned lecture halls with ample seating, museums with modern equipment, practical laboratories, and a well-stocked library.

The college places a focus on research in addition to the usual lectures and practicals. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), DST, and SGT University intramural projects have approved and funded a number of research proposals submitted by faculty and students.
